Don’t worry, this problem is as old as time. You’ve been in business a few years, and you’ve gotten better and better at the actual job. Eventually, you understand exactly who you are, and what you want to book more of.
But now, your website suddenly feels like it’s holding you back...
↘ It’s not actually clear from your website just how good you are;
↘ The site isn’t directly speaking to, or bringing in, your dream clients;
↘ You find yourself directing prospects to your Instagram instead of your website;
↘ You’re trying to charge premium prices but the site doesn’t prove you’re worth them.
There’s a place for template websites in the wedding business. It’s almost always the right call for new suppliers, and plenty succeed without ever investing in bespoke branding or web design.
But the wedding industry is a visual industry. Whether you’re a florist or a photographer or a MUA, it’s really important that you make clear that you have high aesthetic standards; in many cases, knowing what looks good is exactly the service you’re selling to your clients.
Most people start with DIY branding and a website they pull together themselves. But when you’re trying to take that next step - when you’ve discovered what makes you unique, and you’ve figured out exactly who you want to attract more of, and you’re ready to charge your worth - the DIY route often doesn’t cut it.
The solution: web design
by I Know A Place.
I’m making completely bespoke websites especially for wedding suppliers, surgically focused on attracting your dream clients and making them fall head-over-heels for the exact business that you’re running today.
I’m Gail Kelly, and I’m a graphic designer and former wedding photographer based in Glasgow, Scotland. I’ve worked with more than 75 wedding vendors worldwide, and spent my career in branding and website design specialising in the wedding industry. My branding and website work is a perfect fit for clients who have been in business for a few years, and have enough experience to know which weddings and which clients they do and don’t want to book.
All of my sites are designed and built around the specific elements of your work and service that are unique to you - and I’m well versed in digging into your business and helping you discover those elements in your own work.
The result: websites that attract dream clients, articulate your unique selling proposition, and help you charge what you’re worth.
“You perfectly captured the direction I wanted my brand to go in, even though I didn’t know the exact direction myself!”

How it works ↘
-
You pay your first instalment and book your slot – I do focused work on one site at a time.
-
Our initial consultation has lots of tools to help us identify your unique qualities and dream clients.
-
You share the raw materials I’ll need to create the site – branding, written copy, images, etc. I can put you in touch with a professional copywriter to help with this phase.
-
I’ll present a homepage design for consideration, and then we go from there, checking in regularly.
-
It’s a whole other service especially for wedding photographers – read more here.
-
I’ll launch your site when it’s ready, with a domain name that you supply.
-
I’ll supply you with tutorials to edit the site, and you’ve got two weeks of free amends.

Website projects are complex. There’s loads of homework for you to do in advance, and it’s easy to underestimate this phase. I book clients into a specific slot in the calendar – I run a waitlist for most of the year – so it’s super important that we agree to deadlines that you’re able to hit.
What does it cost?
A typical bespoke website quote is £5,000 for a full site. I also offer single–page sites – sites with all the content on the homepage in a single scrolling format – from £2,500. In addition, there’s hosting costs with Squarespace, paid directly to them, and your usual domain hosting costs too.
If you’re ready for your website to start bringing in your dream clients for the right fees, then I can’t wait to hear from you.
Timescale: 6—8 weeks {full} / 3—4 weeks {single}
Investment: from £5,000 {£2,500 for single-page sites}
